The announcement, around about this time last week, that the October bout between Wladimir Klitschko and Tyson Fury had been postponed, was a real sickener.
After such an entertaining press-conference whereby Tyson arrived dressed as the Dark Knight, interest levels in the tear-up between the Gypsy King and Dr Steelhammer went through the roof.
Therefore the announcement that Wladimir had torn a calf muscle and couldn?t fight, in Dusseldorf, on the prescribed date, was like a kick in the nether regions.
Since the postponement, speculation as to when the new date for the bout would be has been rife. It seemed to be the consensus of opinion that we might all have to wait until February 2016.
But, today, Tyson has tweeted that the fight is likely to be rescheduled for November 28th with the tweet reading,
?GREAT NEWS!Just heard from my team @HennessySports @peterfury that @Klitschko has had the all clear to box nov 28 Düsseldorf.#LETSGETINONNNN?
Still a fair way off but not as long to wait as February 2016.
Bring it on I say!
It Looks Like November 28th Then!
