The financial terms have been agreed.

After beating Dereck Chisora, emphatically, to establish himself as the #1 challenger to the WBO title held by Wladimir Klitschko, Tyson Fury will now be in the ideal situation of being able to watch the champion in action before he climbs into the ring with him.

Klitschko will be making a voluntary defence of his IBF / IBO / WBA and WBO titles on the 25th April at the Barclays Centre in Brooklyn, New York.

His opponent will be the unbeaten Bryant Jennings who has a record of 19-0 with 10 by way of knockout. Jennings is rated in the top ten by the WBA, WBC, WBO and IBF but isn?t expected to trouble the experienced Ukrainian.

Previously it had been suggested that Klitschko might be facing Shannon Briggs but it now appears that possibility is over with financial terms being agreed for the fight with Jennings. If the champion eases past Jennings, Fury will, hopefully, get his world title shot in the summer of 2015.
