The official announcement confirming that Anthony Joshua will fight Wladimir Klitschko in his next fight is expected to be announced tomorrow, Tuesday.

Meanwhile little snippets continue to emerge with regards to what could turn out to be one of the biggest fights in British boxing history.

Yesterday the indications were that the financial arrangements had been settled and today it is being suggested that the two fighters will split a huge purse 50-50 with each of the two boxers receiving, according to speculation, $18 million.

Some pundits are suggesting that the huge purse was sufficient enough for Klitschko to fight Joshua in the United Kingdom as opposed to his preferred Germany.

Another obstacle that Eddie Hearn has overcome would appear to be the fact that Joshua is under contract with Showtime whilst Klitschko is under contract to HBO.

However the magnitude of the fight is such that it is believed an agreement has been secured whereby both HBO and Showtime will broadcast the fight live.

Meanwhile, it is being suggested that the fight will be shown on Sky Sports Box Office with the bout expected to be the highest grossing fight ever in the UK.

Is anyone else getting excited?
