Two weeks have passed since Carl Froch was going to give us a decision on his future inside seven days, if you get my drift.
It seemed that Froch, who had been toying with the idea of retiring after giving up his IBF title, subsequently won by James DeGale, and then being stripped of his WBA title due to inactivity, has been interested in a possible match-up with Gennady Golovkin.
However, the delay in making his mind up and also due to the fact that negotiations between Eddie Hearn and Tom Loeffer (Golovkin?s promoter) hadn?t exactly been moving at a pace; has resulted in Loeffer deciding to steer Golovkin in another direction.
Therefore, returning to the title of the article, one has to ask whether that really is Froch?s lot and whether retirement is the only option now!
Is That It for Froch?
