There has been no official confirmation relating to the date of the re-match between Tyson Fury and Wladimir Klitschko, but one date seems to be being bandied about as the big day – May 7th.
No we must re-iterate that nothing has been officially confirmed but there seems to be s much smoke there must be a fire somewhere.
It’s also being suggested that the re-match will take place in Germany which, here at Vital Boxing, we feel isn’t the place such a fight should take place in again.
Having dethroned the champion, Tyson Fury should have stuck to his guns and demanded that Wladimir fights him over here.
Winning in Dusseldorf was a marvellous achievement but the dirty tricks Tyson had to contend with indicate that he can expect more of the same.
To us a big football ground over here would have been the ideal scenario, instead we’re faced with an expensive return to Germany where flight and hotel prices will soar, just so we can be ripped off.
Is May 7th the Big Day?
