It appears that the IBF have told their heavyweight champion, Wladimir Klitschko, he must fight their #1 challenger Kubrat Puley.
Klitschko, who is also the IBO, WBA and WBO champion, currently has a record of 62-3 with 52 by way of knockout. Since his brother, Vitali, retired from Boxing for a career in Ukrainian politics, Wladimir has mentioned unifying the division.
However, having eased his way through recent fights against dull opponents, will Wladimir be prepared to risk all against a fighter who has improved considerably in his recent fights and has a record of 20-0 with 11 by way of knockout?
Personally, I reckon Dr Steel Hammer will take the fight, his 10 year unbeaten run will have his confidence sky-high and his ritualistic approach, with his training camp, will stand him in good stead for this fight.
But will he win it?
On paper he should but you just never know when it comes to the heavyweight division do you!
Is It A Fight Wladimir Will Take?
