Or have we seen the last of David Haye?

It?s a question I?m not even sure David Haye really knows the answer to!

The former world heavyweight champion hasn?t fought since 2012 when he stopped Dereck Chisora.

A succession of injuries, culminating in major surgery on a shoulder injury, have kept Haye out of the ring and at thirty-five years of age you could question whether Haye still has that drive and desire to reach the top.

Since his last fight a new breed of British heavyweights have emerged on the scene, with the likes of Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua being the names on everyone?s lips.

However, whilst we may have our doubts about the legitimacy of a David Haye return to the ring, Haye is, once again, talking about just that.

In fact Haye, who has a record that reads 26-2 with 24 wins coming by way of the big knockout, has asked his one million followers, on his social network site, Twitter, to select a first opponent on his comeback trail.

It remains to be seen whether this is another false dawn when it comes to a Haye comeback or whether it really is a genuine attempt to get back amongst the elite in the heavyweight division.
