There are now serious doubts!

Word is reaching us that the proposed IBF welterweight title fight between Kell Brook, the champion, and Brandon Rios, the challenger is in doubt.

The fight scheduled to take place at the O2 Arena, in London, on 12th September has run into difficulties, so we?re hearing, with regards to a re-match clause the champion wants putting into the contract.

It seems that the Rios camp, whose fighter has a record that reads 33-2 with 24 wins coming by way of the big knockout, are not agreeable to Brook?s insistence that in the event of a loss he?ll get a re-match.

Furthermore, if the stand-off cannot be sorted, there are rumours of a Plan B whereby Eddie Hearn will move Brook?s defence to October against another opponent.

We?ll endeavour to keep you abreast of any news updates that fall in our direction.
