As Carl Frampton prepares to take on Kiko Martinez for the IBF world bantamweight crown tonight, the Irish fighter has revealed that he?ll be looking to win the title for his family.
Talking to the media, Frampton explained his determination to claim the belt remarking to the media,
?My granddad has just recently passed away.?
?There?s nothing he would have loved more than to see his grandson become world champion.?
?I?d love to win this title and dedicate it to him.?
Also, Frampton went on to explain how tonight he will be watched, fr the very first time, by his young daughter, further adding,
?This will be her first fight and I have envisioned getting her into the ring afterwards and lifting her on to my shoulders and having photographs taken with her.?
?That will be something to cherish forever.?
?If my daughter?s in the crowd there?s no way I?ll let Kiko Martinez embarrass me in front of her.?
