Having now racked up 12 straight wins, our young heavyweight prospect, Hughie Fury, will be fighting for his first belt on December 14th.

Hughie will be fighting for the WBC junior heavyweight belt against Danny Hughes with his opponent having a record of 11-2-2 with 3 of those 11 wins coming by knockout.

Although fighting for a belt that is attached to the WBC it is, in all honesty, something of a nonsense belt with very little value.

We believe that Hughie would have fought Hughes earlier than 1th December but for the fact he was tagged last time out, by David Gegeshidze, and picked up a cut that required three stitches.

Will Hughie pick up another win, quite probably yes, but, once again, it surely must be time for the fighter?s camp to match him with better quality opponents if he is going to advance his career and gain some credibility.
