On the undercard of the Nick Blackwell v Chris Eubank Junior British title fight this Saturday night, at the SSE Wembley Arena, in London, Hughie Fury will be fighting on the undercard.
Hughie, a cousin of the current heavyweight king Tyson Fury, is being guided along a route to a possible heavyweight title fight himself.
Unbeaten so far with a record that reads 18-0 with 10 wins coming by way of knockout, Hughie was scheduled to step in the ring with Nagy Aguilera. However, Aguilera had had to withdraw with an unspecified injury.
Faced with getting a late replacement, Hughie will now be taking on what can best be described as the forty-year-old journeyman heavyweight Dominic Guinn.
Guinn will arrive at the SSE Arena with a record that reads 35-10-1 with 24 of his wins coming by way of knockout.
Guinn is almost twice Hughie?s age but has a reputation as a man who can take a punch, which could see Hughie taken into the later rounds.
Not the best of matches when, in our opinion, Hughie needs to be moving onwards and upwards against some of the better names in the heavyweight division but let?s not forget it?s not Hughie?s fault the original opponent had to pull out.
