Yesterday we revealed that Billy Joe Saunders first defence of his world title had been postponed due to a hand injury.

However it seems that the promotion will go ahead, despite the star attraction having pulled out.

Instead it is being reported that Hughie Fury will now top the bill.

Whilst the old adage about the show must go on is to be applauded, one can only hope that the quality of opponent he?ll face is a bit sterner than those he?s shared a ring with before.

But whilst the reputed dream of Hughie Fury becoming the youngest heavyweight champion of the world, beating the record held by Mike Tyson, has faded into obscurity, Hughie remains full of ambition, remarking,

?I?m aiming to make a big impact ? and join Tyson at the very top of the sport.?

Well let?s hope they get Hughie a decent, ranked opponent.
