Hughie Fury, after an absence of a few months, returns to the ring next month.
The undefeated heavyweight prospect who boldly declared he would beat the record held by Mike Tyson to become the youngest heavyweight champion of the world, will be fighting at the Ponds Forge Arena next month.
Fury, who has a record of 13-0 with 8 by way of knockout, will be fighting Danny Hughes in an 8 round encounter. Hughes has a record of 12-2-2 with a mere 3 by way of knockout and, to us, doesn?t seem too much of an improvement on Hughie?s previous opponents although Hughie?s trainer Peter Fury has tried to talk the fight up by remarking,
?Danny?s coming to win, he?s a big lad, he?s 6?5? tall and 17-and-a-half to 18 stone, a genuine heavyweight who has been training hard for this fight.?
But Rome, as they say, wasn?t built in a day and Hughie is still very young,
