It doesn?t seem that long ago that Hughie Fury was boasting that he?d beat Mike Tyson?s record to become the youngest heavyweight champion in history.
It?s a boast that Hughie wasn?t / isn?t going to achieve.
With a record that reads 18-0 with 10 wins coming by way of knockout, it was hoped that Tyson Fury?s cousin might be moved up through the ranks to face a decent fighter in his next fight, his manager, Peter Fury, even hinted as such.
Today the Fury camp has announced the date of his next fight and who is opponent will be.
Hughie will fight at Wembley Arena on 26th March, on the undercard of the Chris Eubank Junior and Nick Blackwell British title fight.
As for his opponent, it seems that Hughie Fury will be facing a struggling journeyman going by the name of Nagy Aguilera who has a record that reads 20-9 with 14 of those wins coming by way of knockout.
Hardly the big-name opponent we were all hoping for is it?
