Tonight, down in Bristol, Hughie Fury makes another ring appearance.
Hughie, who is unbeaten after sixteen professional fights with a record that reads 16-0 with 8 of those wins coming by way of knockout, will be taking on the Argentine heavyweight, Emilio Ezequiel Zarate.
Zarate appears to have been something of a late choice of opponent with his presence on the bill only recently announced.
Looking at his record, the 34-year-old shouldn?t provide Hughie with too much trouble. Zarate has a record that reads 18-14-3 with just 9 wins coming by way of knockout.
The fight is scheduled for eight rounds but we?d be very surprised if it was to last that long as we?re anticipating that Hughie will have is opponent out of there by the fifth round.
However, we feel we must query the quality of opponent that has been selected to take on Hughie.
Hughie once inferred that he?d be the youngest ever heavyweight champion o e world, eclipsing the record set by Mike Tyson.
That has, unfortunately, fallen by the wayside but if Hughie if is to push for a place amongst the top heavyweight sin this country, namely the likes of David Haye, Tyson Fury, Anthony Joshua and Dillian Whyte, now is surely the time to provide Tyson?s cousin with a far better level of opponent!
