With several British heavyweights eyeing up a shot at a version of the world heavyweight title, it should be Tyson Fury that gets his chance first.

Fury has been the mandatory challenger for the WBO crown held by Wladimir Klitschko for what seems like an eternity now, but things are now starting to happen with regards to putting the fight together.

Purse bids are to be entered this week which should reveal where and when the fight will take place.

Eddie Hearn will be submitting a purse bid but whether it will be big enough to bring the fight to the United Kingdom remains to be seen.

However , Hearn is looking ahead and is hoping, probably against the odds, Fury can beat the Ukrainian so that he can promote another of those huge shows at Wembley Stadium whereby he?ll be matched with Anthony Joshua, with Hearn remarking,

?I hope Fury wins. That would open the door for huge fights in the division with Anthony Joshua and Deontay Wilder so I?d love to see him do it.

?On paper, I don?t think he does but I rate him and I certainly think he has a shot in the fight.?

He does but it?ll be some feat if Tyson Fury is the one to dethrone Wladimir Klitschko!
