It would appear that the Matchroom promoter, Eddie Hearn, is none too pleased with a comment made by the reigning British middleweight champion Chris Eubank Jnr.

Eubank Jnr obviously watched on this Saturday as Gennady Golovkin fought for the first time in the UK, at the O2 Arena, in London, against Kell Brook.

Ahead of the contract for the fight between Golovkin and Brook being signed, it was widely expected that it would be Eubank Jnr facing Golovkin for his multitude of world title belts.

However, Eubank Jnr was beaten to the punch by Brook who, despite losing inside five rounds, showed that he wasn?t afraid to mix it with the fearsome fighting machine that is Gennady Golovkin.

But, in trying to obviously engineer a clash with Golovkin, Eubank Jnr has remarked about Dominic Ingle throwing the towel in, during the fifth round, to prevent Kell Brook from taking more punishment to an eye socket that was fractured and giving Brook trouble with his vision.

The tweet Eubank sent, in trying to lure Golovkin into fighting him some time soon, reads,

?If you want a fight with a real British middleweight?come get some. My corner don?t own towels.?

Not the smartest of tweets but then again boxing isn?t a sport for the faint-hearted is it?

As for Golovkin?s next bout, did I hear him calling out Billy Joe Saunders?
