The big fight, this Saturday night, sees David Haye make his much anticipated return to the ring at the O2 Arena, in London.

The weigh in, as is the protocol these days, took place today.

At the weigh-in, Haye, who had already stated beforehand that he was baulking up to car a power threat rather than slim down to maintain his cruiserweight speed, weighed in at 227.3 pounds.

His opponent, Mark De Mori, tipped the scales heavier, weighing in at 243.5 pounds.

In contrast to Haye, De Mori’s weight is consistent with his most recent fights.

Has Haye, carrying that extra weight, taken a gamble hoping to blow De Mori away?

I guess we’ll see on Saturday night.

For those wishing to view the fight who do not have tickets for the O2 Arena, the fight is being televised by the UK channel DAVE.
