After the shenanigans of recent weeks there was an uneasiness about the weigh-in this afternoon, ahead of the heavyweight clash between David Haye and Tony Bellew this Saturday night.

However, after the British Boxing Board of Control had issued a warning about the vitriolic abuse being exchanged between the two fighters, it was a much calmer affair.

The weigh-in took place at the 02 Arena and in the presence of the ring-legend that is Michael Buffer, obviously brought over for the pay-per-view bout.

Stepping on to the scales, David Haye looked a fine athlete, honed to perfection and weighed in at 16 stone and 9 pounds.

Bellew looking a little chubby, took to the scales at 15 stone 3 pounds giving his opponent a huge weight advantage ahead of the fight.

With the boxers eyeing each other up the banter exchanged came from Bellew who mouthed in the direction of Haye,

?Remember what’s coming back at you David, remember what’s coming back.’

Haye looked unfazed by the taunts obviously looking to do his business in the ring.

Does anyone out there care to predict the outcome of the fight and how quickly it will all end?
