Rumour has it that Anthony Joshua will be making his next appearance in the ring on April 9th, at the O2 Arena, in London.

As of yet, there?s no indication as to who his opponent will be.

But one person who we?re pretty sure it won?t be is David Haye.

Joshua v Haye is one fight that is, we suggest, pencilled in for somewhere down the line.

Haye, back in the limelight after his one round demolition job on Mark de Mori, has his own views on any potential fight between him and the unbeaten Watford heavyweight, remarking,

‘His handlers know how dangerous I am.

‘You know, I?m a former two-weight world champion who knocks out pretty much anybody I hit. For a young prospect who?s had 15 fights it will be a big step so I think they?re going to try and angle him towards a world title first.

‘A fight between myself and Joshua would be the biggest heavyweight fight on the planet, I think they know that and they want to get him a little bit more experienced before that fight takes place.?

Personally, I reckon a fight between the two is at least eighteen months away and there?s bound to be a world title at stake for what could be the biggest heavyweight clash this country will have witnessed.
