Speculation doing the rounds suggests that David Haye could soon be back on the comeback trail.

The former heavyweight champion, still recovering from a shoulder operation that many felt could end his career, is being tipped for a ring return sometime in October.

However, Haye has dismissed all talk of a fight with Tyson Fury, with his trainer Adam Booth remarking to the media,

?Beating Fury was something he wanted to do last year and now he?s got his eyes set on doing it differently.?

?We?ve got no desire to make that fight.?

Personally, my belief is that Tyson Fury would have no intention of signing up for such a fight after seeing almost a year of his career wasted courtesy of the two postponements of that fight last year.

Besides, come October there?s the distinct possibility that Fury will have beaten Dereck Chisora (in July) and be waiting for a world title tilt of his own.
