Yesterday we raised the subject of whether David Haye really needed to wait until May for his second fight of his comeback.

We felt that having only taken one hundred and thirty one seconds to get the Australian Mark De Mori out of the ring, he would have had plenty of that gym work in the tank to return to the ring earlier.

But Haye must have his reasons for his decision and talking about the forthcoming May 21st date, the Hayemaker has remarked,

?After being out of the ring for so long it was incredible to be fighting in a capacity crowd,

‘The Heavyweight division is again incredibly exciting, with a number of talented fighters vying for world titles. The Hayemaker is back and ready for the next challenge.?

After beating one fighter who had a good looking record on paper but who was hopelessly out-classed, let’s hope Haye’s next opponent is a lot more durable and of good stock.
