After announcing that he will fight again on December 10th, the former heavyweight champion has confirmed that the venue could be somewhere that hasn?t been used since November 2007.
According to news that has broken just minutes ago, Haye is looking at staging his third comeback fight in Cardiff at the Principality Stadium, or the Millennium Stadium as it used to be known.
Although 35-year-old Haye has given no inkling of who his next opponent will be, it seems that the London fighter is intent on showcasing his talents around the country.
Those who authorise use of the Principality Stadium might have concerns over protecting the pitch ahead of the forthcoming Rugby Union international season, but the fact that the stadium has a retractable roof makes it an ideal venue to stage the fight with their being no chance of rain ruining the event.
However, it has to be said that if Haye has aspirations of filling the stadium he?ll have to select an opponent that will entice the boxing paying public to purchase a ticket, not one of the poor standard of opponents he?s faced in his two previous comeback fights.
