All this talk of David Haye making a return to the ring is starting to get a little tiresome.
Even more so when Haye suggests that he is coming back but has no date or no opponent lined up.
It makes me wonder whether Haye has been waiting for today?s announcement that Audley Harrison has officially retired.
This time, talking about his comeback Haye has remarked,
?I?ll be back, 100 per cent I?ll fight again ? I?m in no rush to name a date or an opponent, but it will definitely happen.
?I was ringside at the Carl Froch ? George Groves fight last year, and I realized how much I had missed big stadium fights.
?Fury can forget it, though. It?s just not going to happen ? destiny has decided he?s not going to get a pay-day out of me. If he had fought me, he would have been lying on the floor when I knocked him out after a round, laughing all the way to the bank.?
Now whether that last remark is a ploy to rile Fury we can only guess but after the shenanigans of the will-they won?t-they fight, I reckon Fury wouldn?t be interested in fighting Haye anyway!
