It has been two and a half years since David Haye last fought.

The former heavyweight champion of the world has, after recovering from major shoulder surgery, has hinted that he still harbours an ambition to reclaim a version of the heavyweight title.

However, with an apparent split from Adam Booth having taken place, something Haye hasn?t confirmed, the Bermondsey fighter has yet to sign up with anybody.

Speaking to the media, Haye has remarked,

?My ultimate goal is to become the undisputed heavyweight champion.?

?I haven?t signed anything with anybody. When I do start signing stuff, which shouldn?t be too long anyway, I?ll let everyone know. I?ve got to beat some people.?

With Haye turning 34 next month and with his inactivity of recent times, allied with doubts over the shoulder that was operated on, have we seen the best days of the Hayemaker?
