After a wonderful bill, at the O2 Arena in London, a fortnight ago, a bill that saw Lee Selby become a world champion, another boxer has hopes of joining our ranks of reigning world champions.

Down at the Action Indoor Sorts Centre in Bristol, Lee Haskins will be looking to grab the IBF bantamweight interim world title when he faces Ryosuke Iwasa of Japan.

The winner of this contest has been promised a crack at the IBF champion Randy Caballero and Haskins has every intention of making sure he is that man.

Talking about the fight, to the media, Haskins has remarked,

‘I will try to knock him out in the middle rounds. That will be more entertaining for the fans.

‘I’m nervous but excited and I’m looking forward to winning this fight. I try to do the basic boxing skills and I will try to produce a beautiful boxing style to show the British people.’

Can Haskins do it, off course he can, we?re tipping Lee to stop this fellow in, or around, the tenth round.
