The O2 Arena this coming Saturday evening sees the latest chapter of the Tyson Fury story.
After successfully disposing of Dereck Chisora last time out, thereby earning a world title shot against Wladmir Klitschko, Tyson is biding his time but keeping active with a bout against the #3 WBO fighter Christian Hammer.
Hammer, based in Germany, has a record that reads 17-3 with 10 wins coming by knockout and the heavyweight contender intends to make that eleven knockouts by silencing Tyson Fury.
Ahead of the fight Hammer has remarked to the media,
?Tyson Fury will not go the distance against me he will be getting knocked-out clean and left to pick up the pieces after the fight.
?He cannot hurt me with his punches because I?m in the best shape of my career for this fight and he will not last against me. He has been put down before, he can be hit and hurt.?
That?s fighting talk but the consensus of opinion is that Hammer will have trouble connecting with Fury set to keep him at distance with his jab and when the opportunity arises stepping inside to try and stop him.
But, as we?ve said many a time before, you just don?t know in the heavyweight division where one punch can end a dream and start another.
Hammer Wants Fury Knockout!
