On the undercard of the promotion at the First Direct Arena, in Leeds last night, a former world champion was looking to get another shot at a world title.

Stuart Hall, who has previously held the IBF Bantamweight title took on the rugged and very tough Mexican, Rodrigo Guerrero, in what was to be a tough and often brutal encounter.

The fight went the full distance with Hall getting a unanimous points decision in a bout where the Leeds crowd stood to applaud the efforts of both men.

After securing the 20th win of his career, it now looks as if Hall will get the opportunity to have another tilt at a world title with the 36-year-old set to take on the current IBF champion Lee Haskins, in what would be a terrific domestic showdown for a world title.

However, that is all dependent upon Haskins making a successful defence of his world title against Ivan Morales at a show in Cardiff, in May.
