Today though, it is the turn of the challenger Sergey Kovalev to have his say.

The big-hitting Russian arrives in Cardiff with a fearsome record of 22 unbeaten fights with 19 of those wins coming by knockout and many seasoned pundits have a feeling that Kovalev could take Cleverly?s WBO belt back to Russia with him.

Speaking to the media about the fight at the Motorpoint Arena, Kovalev has remarked,

?Nathan is a great fighter, tough and smart with good technique.?

?This is a big test but I?m ready. I?ve worked for this since my childhood ? this is my moment.?

?You?ll see on Saturday that I?m not just a big puncher.?

?I?m not talking like Cleverly and his father. I?ll do my talking in the ring.?

The guy sounds focused and coming to do a job on the current champion, I get the feeling this one could go either way!
