When it was announced, recently, Nathan Cleverly was moving up to fight at cruiserweight, we wondered whether making the weight limit, at light heavyweight, was a problem.

It appears that might well be the case with Nathan stepping forward to remark about the weight change,

‘It was an inevitable process really, because I’m still young and naturally growing, so it was only a matter of time before moving up a weight,’

‘If there was a weight in between, that would be ideal, but because cruiserweight is such a big jump that’s why it’s such a big issue.’

It?s glad to see that Nathan has been so honest and when he takes on the Australian, Daniel Ammann, for the vacant Commonwealth cruiserweight title, we see some of that zip that was missing in his last outing when, to be perfectly honest, he took a beating.
