From the moment Badou Jack upset the apple-cart and becoming the WBC super-middleweight champion, there have been doubts about the actual date the fight would take place on.

Jack?s camp were of the opinion that it would be the perfect fight to put on the under-card of Floyd Mayweather Juniors, supposed, last ever fight on September 12th.

The uncertainty about the date consequently led to Sauerland, the team behind George Groves, urging supporters to refrain, for the time being, from buying flight tickets in case the date was subsequently changed.

However, yesterday, news came through that the date of August 22 has now been confirmed and that the fight will be in Las Vegas.

The big question remains though, after two painful defeats to Carl Froch will George Groves make it third time lucky and bring that world title belt back to the United Kingdom?
