Boxers are a proud species.

A defeat rankles and many boxer wish to seek a rematch to atone for any blemishes on their record.

Only recently, we saw Carl Froch atone for his defeat to Mikkel Kessler and already there is talk of Froch having a rematch with Andre Ward, to avenge the only other defeat on his record.

Elsewhere in the super-middleweight division, somewhere down the line James DeGale could face George Groves for a third time.

Groves appears to have something on DeGale having beaten him as an amateur whilst also inflicting the only blemish on DeGale?s professional record.

DeGale, speaking about his supposed nemeses, has had this to say,

?I would box George Groves next week. He has boxed me twice, once in the amateurs and then as a pro and been extremely lucky. God is definitely on his side.?

?Eventually, down the line, it will have to happen and people will call for it but I doubt he wants me.?

My personal view is that a third clash will take place but only if a world title, or a world title eliminator banner is paraded above the billing as a defeat for either, at this stage of their careers, could be very harmful to their world title prospects

As for who would win, I reckon it?s too close to call, how about you?
