With their big Manchester date fast approaching, Carl Froch and George Groves are upping the verbal stakes ahead of Saturday?s fight.

Groves, back in his home city of London, took part in a public sparring session at the huge Westfield Shopping Centre in Shepherd?s Bush. However, facing unbeaten Saint George in the other corner was a giant gingerbread man.

But the comic nature of the event didn?t stop George from commenting further about his opponent this Saturday with Groves remarking,

‘This is the fight I have always wanted.?

?I respect Carl Froch for achieving what he has in the sport, and I know he’s a tough fighter, but I also believe he is beatable and that I have the style to cause him nightmares.?

‘This is a risky, horrible match-up for him, and he realises there’s every chance he gets taken to school and stopped for the first time in his career.’

The fight promises to be a real humdinger and I wouldn?t be surprised if it went either way!
