It is looking very much as if George Groves has secured a fourth world title fight.

The Hammersmith super-middleweight has come up short on three previous attempts having been stopped twice by Carl Froch and then losing a controversial points? decision to Badou Jack, a boxer who is set to take on James DeGale in a unification fight.

Taking to the social network site Twitter, Groves has tweeted,

‘Confirmed. I fight Chudinov for the WBA super-middleweight championship of the world.?

Groves, it seems, will be taking on the Russian fighter Fedor Chudinov for the vacant WBA super-middleweight title.

As of yet, there is no date for the fight, or venue, but 28-year-old Groves will face a stern test in facing Federov with the Russian having lost just 1 of his 15 bouts.

Chudinov lost his only attempt at a world title when he was beaten by Felix Sturm but after picking up an elbow injury the German fighter vacated the belt.

Will it be fourth time lucky for Groves?
