Next Saturday, 17 February, George Groves and Chris Eubank Jnr go head-to-head in their World Boxing Super Series semi-final, in Manchester.

With the fight drawing closer, the verbal barbs have started to be exchanged.

The early insults have been aimed in the direction of the reigning WBA champion, by Chris Eubank Snr, with the former fighter suggesting that the referee will need to give the Hammersmith born fighter proper protection, obviously refereeing to the sad end to the fight his son had with Nick Blackwell.

The jibe forced Groves into a response with the reigning world title holder remarking,

?He?s sort of lost a grip on reality.

?Junior has two-hopes. To try and bum-rush me and hope the ref steps in or to showboat and steal the rounds.

?His dad is being totally classless because he keeps saying that I need saving by the referee, which is disgusting.

?I thought he was a classy guy but he?s not.?

Clearly, this domestic tear-up is a fight to look forward to, but who is your money on when it comes to predicting the winner?
