With Carl Froch out injured and undecided about whether he should retire or fight on, I could be two other British super-middleweights that dominate proceedings.
George Groves, back in world title contention, is set to fight the WBC champion Anthony Dirrell, a boxer who has a record that reads 27-0-1 with 22 of his wins coming by way of knockout. It will be Groves third tilt at a world title having lost twice, once in controversial circumstances to Carl Froch.
Meanwhile, waiting for his mandatory IBF status to provide him with a world title fight, there is talk of James DeGale also getting into a ring with one of the Dirrell brothers, this time Andre who has a fight record that reads 24-1 with 16 coming by way of knockout.
Groves, in discussing the situation with the media, is of the opinion that both he and DeGale can beat the Dirrell brothers therefore setting up a he domestic all-British showdown in the very near future.
It remains to be seen whether the theory turns into reality.
