The inference being bandied about is that George Groves could be heading towards a fourth world title fight in the very near future.
Groves who lost two attempts at winning a world title against his nemesis Carl Froch and a further attempt, in Las Vegas, against Badou Jack, is being talked about as a possible candidate to take on Martin Murray for the WBO super-middleweight crown.
However, before that can happen, a few things would have to fall into place.
Firstly, Murray, who has also had three unsuccessful attempts at winning a world title, would have to beat the current WBO super-middleweight champion, Arthur Abraham, in their fight next weekend.
Secondly, Abraham would have to resist the urge to try and win his crown back with a re-match and, thirdly, the route for Groves to challenge Murray would open up if, as suspected, Callum Smith moves down the WBC route to achieve greatness.
Also, it remains to be seen whether Groves would walk straight into another word title fight or whether he would have to have a warm-up fight beforehand.
But can you, a Vital Boxing reader, see this all-British super-middleweight bout taking place or are there to many obstacles to overcome?
