Does that desire to be champion of the world slightly wane after three failed attempts?

An interesting question I believe.

On the 02 Arena promotion, in London; this weekend George Groves will be doing his utmost to ensure his desire to become a world champion wane.

Groves came so close in his first fight against Carl Froch, having the champion on his backside early on; sadly the rest is history with Groves getting, unfairly stopped later on.

In the re-match with Froch, Groves never got as close as he had done in that first fight and was knocked out by, probably, the best one-punch knockout Froch has produced in his entire career.

The third occasion, in the US was a closer affair against Badou Jack but Groves, perhaps, didn?t do enough on foreign soil to take the verdict.

Last time out Groves beat Andre Di Luisa as the road to a world title began again. Appearing on the huge Eddie Hearn promotion this Saturday, gives Groves the chance to edge nearer that fourth world title attempt, but Groves knows there can be no more slip ups.

Fighting against David Brophy, Groves has remarked about the fight,

?Boxing on this card renews my determination to get back to where you want to be.?

We?re taking Groves to win, but will he ever get the world title he craves?

That is the great unanswered question.
