Although everything looks to be in place for the mega-fight between Carl Froch and George Groves, on May 31st, there is something that might just set the apple-cart.

Talking about the promotion, Groves has admitted that he?s self-managed these days but has yet to be granted his managers license.

Discussing the situation, Groves has remarked to the media,

?After negotiating myself into the biggest fight in British boxing history with NO option, I?m in London applying for my managers? license!?

?I?ve had to answer questions like ?how do I make weight?? Fingers crossed I get it or I can?t fight. Apparently my latest efforts were not good enough.?

Surely this is one obstacle that George could do without as he prepares for the biggest night of his professional life, can you see it really getting in the way of this mega-fight? I can?t.
