We?ve already covered how our own Martin Murray had been linked with a fight with the much vaunted WBA middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin, well now it appears the big-hitting champion has another opponent in his sights.

With Murray, reportedly, embroiled in visa problems preventing him from taking the November fight date offered, it?s being reported that Golovkin?s camp have made an offer to the #6 IBF and #10 WBC rated fighter Curtis Stevens.

Stevens has a record of 253 with 18 of those victories coming by way of knockout. Talking about a possible bout, Tom Loeffler, from Golovkin?s camp is quoted as having remarked,

?We?ve made an offer to Stevens but we haven?t gotten anything finalized.?

Will Stevens, if the fight goes ahead, trouble Golovkin, we seriously doubt it!
