After his three round demolition of Daniel Geale, it appears that the WBA middleweight champion, Gennady Golovkin, is arousing a few words of challenge from those who reckon they can derail him.

Golovkin has 30 wins and 0 defeats in his career so far and has finished 27 of those 30 fights by knockout. Very rarely do we stumble across a fighter that has such devastating power.

However, with Golovkin?s stock at an all-time high Golden Boy Promotions want a slice of the action and want to have a crack at the big time.

Oscar De La Hoya, no stranger to the big-fight scene, wants to match his fighter, the current WBO champion Peter Quillin up against Golovkin. Quillin has an almost identical record to Golovkin having amassed 31 wins with 0 defeats but with only 22 by knockout.

Using the social network De La Hoya has remarked,

?Would love to see @KIDCHOCOLATE [Quillin] vs. GGG. My Latino brother [Quillin] would do a number on the G man.?

But Golovkin?s camp are not running scared with his promoter, Tom Loeffer, replying,

?Would love to see that fight too.?

Well let?s get it on then!
