Since that monumental night, in Dusseldorf, when Tyson Fury dethroned Wladimir Klitschko, Tyson has been inactive in the ring.
Instead the unbeaten heavyweight has been content to take to the social network sites to engage with people.
Now whether Tyson Fury will ever make a ring return remains to be seen, currently tipping the scales at over 20 stone it?d take a tremendous effort to get back to his best fighting weight.
But one heavyweight, Joseph Parker, reckons that Tyson Fury will be desperate to get back into the ring in the next few months.
On May 6th, Parker will be defending his WBO world heavyweight crown against Hughie Fury, Tyson?s cousin.
Parker is of the opinion that when he beats Hughie, Tyson will be desperate to avenge his cousin?s defeat with Parker remarking to the media,
?I?m fighting Hughie and if I beat him I think Tyson would want to come back and try and get revenge.
?He?d want to also try and regain his old title and I?d welcome that fight. I?ve got huge respect for Tyson Fury as he beat the long-reigning, dominant heavyweight champion and started bringing some excitement back to the division.?
I?m not sure that would be the case, my view is that Tyson Fury won?t step back into the ring and that those thoughts of retirement will see him do just that.
