In something like twenty-four days, Nathan Cleverly will make his much anticipated return to the ring.

The Welshman will be looking to get his career back on track after the devastating loss to Sergey Kovalev cost him his light-heavyweight title.

After the loss there were mutterings that Cleverly, still only 26 years of age, would walk away from the sport he?d served so well, but Nathan is now firmly in the groove and can?t wait for his fight against the Australian Daniel Ammann on November 30th.

Fighting at cruiserweight, instead of light-heavyweight, the biggest poundage gap in the weight system, it?ll be interesting to see how Cleverly adapts amongst the bigger men.

However, the Welshman admits that a move up was much needed, commenting to the media,

‘The move up to cruiserweight was much needed and before I lost to Kovalev I was thinking about it anyway.’

‘I’ve had a big blow losing my world title and unbeaten record, but now it’s about getting back on the horse and riding it again.’

Here at Vital Boxing we are eagerly awaiting his ring return and we hope that talk of fighting for a world title, backed by a Commonwealth title belt, sometime in 2014 will happen.
