Whilst most eyes were on Wembley Arena and the comeback of George Groves, another promotion was taking place at the Ponds Forge Arena, in Sheffield.

Kid Galahad, who in his pre-fight build up had reckoned he could beat Carl Frampton and Scott Quigg on the same night, was taking on the Brazilian fighter Adeilson Dos Santos.

Unfortunately for Galahad, an injury suffered by his original opponent the highly ranked Canadian Tyson Cave, meant he had to readjust his thinking.

Nevertheless, Galahad produced a dominant display to take a unanimous decision, dazzling his opponent with his hand-speed and unorthodox style whilst also putting the Brazilian on the canvas twice in the process.

The win stretches Galahad?s winning run to 18-0 with 9 coming by way of knockout and places him firmly in the sights of those two aforementioned champions, although whether they?d want to step into the ring with the often brash, often cocky but very talented Sheffield fighter remains to be seen.
