After the huge re-match this weekend, between Tyson Fury and Wladimir Klitschko was called off, courtesy of Fury picking up an ankle injury, we?ve been waiting for news of the rescheduled date.
Well it would appear that, injuries permitting, the re-match will now take place on October 29th at the Manchester Arena.
The news was broken by Wladimir?s manager, Bernd Boente, who spilled the beans to the German news site Bild
The new date will mean that it will be almost a year since Fury beat Klitschko to take the IBF / IBO / WBA / WBO belts from the Ukrainian who had held the for a considerable period of time.
Unfortunately the IBF was taken off of Fur due to the re-match with Klitschko being a contractual thing and has since been won by our very own Anthony Joshua.
Hopefully, both fighters can get through their training camps without any mishaps and we can get this re-match on.
