Banter being exchanged on the social network sites, between Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua has been rife all week.

Therefore, with Anthony Joshua set to take centre-stage this weekend, when he fights Prince Charles Martin, you just knew that Tyson Fury would try and steal some of the limelight and that is exactly how it has turned out to be.

After months of deliberations and discussions as to where and when the re-match with Wladimir Klitschko will take place the Fury camp have, on the eve of Joshua?s big night, revealed that Tyson Fury will go head-to-head with the Ukrainian on July 9th for a second time.

The first occasion, over in Dusseldorf, saw Tyson win the WBA, IBF and WBO belts in November.

News broke around 11:00 hours this morning that was the date and that the bout would take place in Manchester, a venue Tyson had indicated would fulfil a dream when he remarked to the official Manchester United site shortly after becoming the heavyweight champion of the world,

‘If I could choose anywhere in the world to fight one day, it would definitely be Old Trafford.

‘I?ve always said that is my biggest dream. I?d like to fight Klitschko here so hopefully we can sort it.’


However, we were all kept on tenterhooks until high noon when Team Fury released further details of the hugely anticipated bout, once that is forthcoming we?ll update this article.
