On 28th February Tyson Fury takes something of a risk when he faces Christian Hammer at the O2 Arena in London.
The unbeaten heavyweight is perfectly aware that when he steps into the ring with Hammer he risks his WBO mandatory status and a fight with Wladimir Klitschko.
But Tyson, as you?d expect from a man who has won all 23 of his contests, Tyson remains confident that he can stop Hammer with the fighter remarking to the media,
?Hammer will be a spanner by the time I finish with him.
?The Christian Hammers of the world are no problem to me, I can feel a knockout.
?There is pressure on me but if I am the #1 heavyweight in the world, like I believe, then men like Hammer should be no problem for me.?
And explaining why he?s taking the fight instead of waiting for the Klitschko bout, he added,
?I must have a fight in between the Klitschko fight because I just can?t wait around.
?There?s many a man who came unstuck on the last hurdle. I?m not going to be one of them.?
Well let?s hope not, we?re looking forward to seeing Tyson Fury take part in a world title fight.
