As the November 29th clash between Tyson Fury and Dereck Chisora moves closer, the pair attended news conference to promote the fight today.
However, in somewhat comical scenes, Tyson Fury marched into the room with a piece of tape stuck across his mouth with the words British Boxing Board of Control written across it along with several question marks.
The stunt, obviously in response to being fined £15,000 for unruly comments he made at the last press conference didn?t stop Tyson offering a prediction as to the outcome of the fight, raising his middle finger to indicate he?d win by a first round knockout.
Speaking about his charges? behaviour his promoter Mick Hennessy had this to say,
‘You need characters to be able to be themselves whatever they’re confronted with.?
‘Sometimes you’re going to get a gentleman with Tyson and sometimes, if he’s rubbed up the wrong way, you’ll get another side of him.’
As for Chisora, he too behaved himself and offered the following big fight prediction,
‘I think we could make a wager that he won’t keep it on for the next eight weeks.’
‘I’m going to knock him out, it’s a simple fact. I don’t know what round but I’m going to knock him out.’
With some 12,500 tickets sold so far, it promises to be quite a night at the Excel Arena on November 29th.
