After beating Bermane Stiverne to win the WBC version of the heavyweight title, Deontay Wilder challenged Tyson Fury to be his next opponent.

Wilder?s words were politely strung together and in no way were they meant to antagonize the unbeaten British heavyweight.

However, far from accepting Deontay?s challenge, Fury has gone on the front-foot and started shooting from the hip, hinting that he will fight Wilder one-day but not now, emphasizing that he?s waiting for Wladimir Klitschko to honour his mandatory status.

Talking about Wilder?s offer, Fury remarked to the media,

?I don?t like Deontay Wilder and he doesn?t like me.?

?I think he?s a big hype-job. I told him one day I will get him in the ring and knock him out. That is still my plan.?

And on his immediate and future plans, Fury continued,

?He?s got a title now and I?m the mandatory challenger for Wladimir Klitschko. In an ideal world I?d like to fight Klitschko first, because he?s got most of the belts and he?s the number one in the division, and then I?d like to unify all the titles against Deontay Wilder.?

Before finishing with,

?Potentially, I?m three or four fights away from being the unified heavyweight champion of the world.?

Would it be harsh to suggest that Fury can dream on?

Come on Tyson, the offer from Wilder looks genuine and he?s also prepared to come to the UK!
