Says another super-middleweight chasing world title glory.

With the WBA having ordered Carl Froch to face Andre Ward in a defence of his super-middleweight title, Eddie Hearn reckons negotiations to get the two fighters in the ring have commenced.

However, with Froch not having boxed since he stopped George Groves in their second bout, at Wembley, in May, and with the Nottingham fighter currently out injured, and also of advancing years, his super-middleweight rival, James DeGale doesn?t believe Froch will take the fight.

Talking about the possibility of Froch meeting Ward, DeGale has remarked,

?That fight won?t happen.

?Froch is a very proud man and doesn?t want to let his WBA belt go having already vacated the IBF.

?But that?s a hard fight against Ward and I honestly think he?s going to retire. There?s not much out there for him.?

?He?s earned his money, achieved a whole heap and I?m not sure he has the desire any more.?

Thoughts that I would echo!

How about you?
